My name is James Cuellar and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the students, staff, and stakeholders that make up our School of Excellence in Education community. I look forward to continuing the commitment that School of Excellence in Education has established for organizational excellence and ultimate goal for becoming an Exemplary district.

My educational philosophy is based on these simple truths; first, I believe that all children can learn. Secondly, I believe that all students should receive a quality education delivered at the highest levels of learning possible. In addition, I also believe that parents play a crucial role in the overall academic success of their children and that is why I encourage your partnership and support as we move forward in helping our students reach their next level of academic excellence.
